Who saw Little Miss Sunshine and was sicked-out by the child beauty pagent scene?

I thought is was discusting. Why do parents do this to their children? Do they want daughters with mental problems and inferiority complexes?

The movie comes out on DVD today...that is what reminded me...oh, and the little druggy, Miss America

I saw the movie last night. I really liked it and thought it was a riot. And yes, the beauty pageant girls creeped me out. Thank goodness Olive did her strip tease for them. You know... in a way, her part was much less disgusting than the "real" beauty queens. Maybe that was the point.

i thought the whole movie sucked...something about a grandfather cussing like that and encouraging the teenage boy to do drugs and have sex then teaching his granddaughter a strip tease dance was like you say disgusting...the best part of the movie...the yellow vw bus...thats it...pretty much it was a waste of money and time.
disgusting movie
i didn't like it at all. the grandpa teaching his grandkid to strip tease...weird and perverted. and telling the teenager to get as much sex as he can and do drugs? just as strange....

steve carell kind of creeps me out anyway...i like him in office but thats about it...all in all it was a stupid, badly acted, badly written movie and a waste of money. the vw bus was cool though...
I'm sure there are a lot of kiddie, "happily ever after" movies coming out on DVD today if you guys would prefer to watch that.
You guys have such a stick up your asses. Miss America was busted for underage drinking, btw. And my god, teenagers as young as 13 are drinking, and you don't think some woman who is 19 or 20 isn't going to drink??? People have to grow up and enter the real world sometime. We can't all be stupid sheltered mormon and amish freaks.
