I saw the movie last night. I really liked it and thought it was a riot. And yes, the beauty pageant girls creeped me out. Thank goodness Olive did her strip tease for them. You know... in a way, her part was much less disgusting than the "real" beauty queens. Maybe that was the point.

i thought the whole movie sucked...something about a grandfather cussing like that and encouraging the teenage boy to do drugs and have sex then teaching his granddaughter a strip tease dance was like you say disgusting...the best part of the movie...the yellow vw bus...thats it...pretty much it was a waste of money and time.

steve carell kind of creeps me out anyway...i like him in office but thats about it...all in all it was a stupid, badly acted, badly written movie and a waste of money. the vw bus was cool though...
I'm sure there are a lot of kiddie, "happily ever after" movies coming out on DVD today if you guys would prefer to watch that.

And my god, teenagers as young as 13 are drinking, and you don't think some woman who is 19 or 20 isn't going to drink??? People have to grow up and enter the real world sometime. As an Aussie, my favourite place in the whole of Aus is Port Douglas, juts south of there Palm Cove, is great for resorts if thats what your after
Depends how far north you are going. Whitsundays north of Mackay is stunning...mainland, islands aor on a boat! Cairns is a wonderful entry to the Great Barrier Reef, a the Daintree rainforests. It is a massive state and there are many things to see and do 'within 100kms' of the main highway.

no, its like october here in suffolk today, winds a blowing, rain has held off so far, but i'm just about to go out so its sure to downpour then, i have two jumpers on and jeans, not good for end of june........... time to move to warmer climes me thinks, brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr or find someone to cuddle up with ;-)
